Reiki is an ancient Japanese touch healing system that uses the Universal (Rei) Life Force Energy (Ki) to heal and promote balance on all levels: physical, spiritual, mental and emotional. When the body's natural healing abilities are exposed to this energy they are enhanced. In simpler terms, receiving or giving Reiki feels awesome and can work wonders in your life!!

Reiki practitioners, having been attuned to Reiki, channel a higher frequency energy to other's to help them in healing themselves. As a bonus, the Reiki practitoner's energy is never depleted as they receive the life force energy while channeling it to the recipient. Reiki flows into the person's physical and energy bodies helping to clear and repair any areas where there may be damage or blockages. This helps the person to heal.

As an intelligent energy, Reiki goes where it is needed, and can do no harm whatsoever. Aside from its healing qualities, Reiki also has a positive influence on spiritual growth, helping you along your path. Healthy people can also benefit from Reiki as it gives them an energy boost and acts as a preventative to illness. Animals also love Reiki (my dog Chakra will attest to this)!

Since Reiki is not associated with any religion or belief system, anyone of any faith can give or receive it. This energy therapy complements any and all conventional and alternative medical treatments.
